Kim Kardashian Said It Was “Annoying” That Khloé Constantly FaceTimed Her 6-Year-Old Daughter During Their Family Vacation

Khloé Kardashian’s parenting was once again a source of contention amongst her family in the latest episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians .

Khloé is mom to two kids: True, who is 6, and Tatum, who is 1. She shares both of them with her ex-boyfriend, Tristan Thompson.

Lately, Khloé has expressed her desire to prioritize her time at home with her children. In recent episodes of The Kardashians , she’s described herself as a “hands-on” mom who prefers to do “everything” for her kids and even admitted that it took her over a year to let her nanny put True to bed.

And in this week’s installment, Khloé’s close relationship with her kids becomes a sensitive topic when her sister, Kim Kardashian, and mom, Kris Jenner, call her out for FaceTiming True during a family dinner on vacation in Aspen, Colorado.

The episode sees Kris, her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, Khloé, Kim, and Kendall out at a restaurant for dinner on their vacation . While Kim is speaking with her family, Khloé starts FaceTiming her daughter back home. She cuts Kim off and says, “Lemme say goodnight to True.”

While Kim is talking, Khloé can be heard telling True on FaceTime, “Hi, I love you!” The 6-year-old then asks her mom a bunch of questions, and before long, Khloé is engaged in a full-on conversation on the phone.

Kim seems annoyed, and in a confessional, she says: “Here we go again. She just is so stuck on what’s going on at home that she can’t have a good time.”

“We don’t get to do this very often anymore,” Kim continues. “It’s really rare that we go on these family vacations and I just want Khloé to enjoy the dinner, enjoy the moment, be present with us.”

Kris then echoes Kim’s thoughts, saying in a confessional of her own: “OK, Khloé, I love you, and I’m not gonna take sides, but Kim’s got a point. Get off your phone, we’re right here!”

Kris then attempts to end Khloé’s conversation with True by saying, “Bye!” and “See ya!” while Khloé is speaking.

In another confessional, Khloé expresses how frustrated she is with her family. “Wait, I’m supposed to be more present, but Kim hasn’t looked up from her phone the entire dinner? She’s scrolling Instagram!” she says.

“This is why I don’t like to leave the gates. Because I just feel like I get attacked every fucking second,” she adds.

The next morning, Kim looks less than pleased again as Khloé FaceTimes True before she goes to school. “It’s just annoying,” she says in a confessional.

Once the phone call is finished, Khloé outright asks Kim, “Did that trigger you?”

“‘Cause you’re the one always wanting to say I put my kids first, I spend too much time with them, I never leave the house,” Khloé tells Kim. “We have a very short amount of time that they even wanna be with us.”

Kim says there’s nothing wrong with Khloé wanting to be super present with her kids. However, she explains that she’s unhappy with Khloé not being present with her sisters when she’s away from True and Tatum.
