The popular Thai actors Engfa Waraha and Charlotte Austin are gearing up for their brand new GL series Petrichor. The popular on-screen pair previously won over hearts for their performance in Show Me Love in 2023.

Engfa and Charlotte recently starred in Love Bully, part of Club Friday Season 16: Hot Love Issue. Following the conclusion of Love Bully last month, the pair are set to wow viewers again in their upcoming drama. The Petrichor Series unveiled its first look recently, which has understandably raised fans’ anticipation.

On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, The Petrichor Series’ official page on X (formerly Twitter) revealed the first look at the upcoming GL drama. Take a look at the post below:

Engfa and Charlotte, too, took to social media to share a look at their respective characters. The former will play the role of a police officer, while the latter stars as a forensic doctor.

Is The Petrichor Series based on a novel?

The Petrichor Series is the drama adaptation of the web novel Petrichor — Rust in the Rain by an author duo named SIXTEENSEVEN, translated by Sirin Mungcharoen. It follows the story of Lieutenant Tul, a rookie officer whose first field deployment brings her across Dr. Cherran from the Institute of Forensic Science.

There’s a gap between the two because of their different work attitudes. The two team up as they work together to analyze evidence from crime scenes. Eventually, Tul and Cherran get close and grow to trust each other.

The Petrichor Series has yet to release further information on the rest of the cast and the drama’s filming. In the meantime, fans of Engfa and Charlotte can check out the pair’s work in the latest GL drama, Love Bully, on the CHANGE2561 YouTube channel.
