Will a Friends Reunion movie happen post Matthew Perry’s demise?

A Friends Reunion movie or show is unlikely to happen, as creator Marta Kauffman had earlier dismissed the possibility. And now, after Matthew Perry’s demise, the chances have further reduced.

In a past conversation with Deadline , Kauffman revealed that they don’t look forward to a reunion or reboot in the future. Previously in a Variety interview, Jennifer Aniston, who plays Rachel in Friends, also presented her take on why a reunion movie didn’t happen. She explained that despite the fans’ and cast’s desire, the producers didn’t greenlight it. “Because our producers wouldn’t want it, wouldn’t let us. Look, it’s not been without our desire to, because our fans have wanted it so much,” she added.
