Christina Applegate got very real about her struggles to groom herself amid her multiple sclerosis battle.
The “Bad Moms” star, 52, called her co-host Jamie-Lynn Sigler the “Simon to my Garfunkel” on the latest episode of their “Messy” podcast Tuesday before joking, “Which is what my bush looks like at this point.”
“Shave when your stomach is as big as mine,” she continued. “Because you have to lift it up and then get in … you know what I mean?”
Applegate the further described why it’s so difficult for her, explaining, “You’re one-handing and you’re trying to stand and you’re falling over in the shower.”

“I know people with MS can relate to this,” the “Dead to Me” alum added. “You can’t get in there, get your leg up and then move your big belly up to see it.”
Sigler, 43, who has had MS for two decades, then advised, “You have to sit on the floor. You gotta literally sit on the floor of your shower and contort yourself in strange ways.”
Ever since Applegate revealed her MS diagnosis in August 2021, she has been extremely candid about how much her life has changed as a result of the chronic disease that affects her central nervous system.

Applegate’s latest confession — which she somewhat brought up in jest — comes after she’s shared that she “deflects” from the pain of her debilitating disease with humor.
“My humor shield keeps me OK, but of course, down on the insides, you feel the things and I do it to kind of deflect and then also make people not be scared to be around me,” the “Married With Children” alum said on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” last December.
“You know, when people see me now as a disabled person, I want them to feel comfortable. That we can laugh about it.”
