The Legitimacy Of Dr. Britt Baker’s Health Disclosure Has Been Confirmed

Having not wrestled since September 2023, Dr.Britt Baker delighted fans at Forbidden Door this past weekend when she returned to AEW at the end of Mercedes Moné’s match, clearly setting a future clash. And now, during Dynamite, the AEW original would open up about her absence from the ring, disclosing that she had suffered a transient ischemic attack, which is more commonly known as a ministroke, which left her hospitalized for a week.

Thankfully, Baker has since recovered, and for the handful of fans questioning whether this legitimately happened, PWInsider.com has confirmed that what she said in her promo was legitimate.

33-year-old Baker was AEW’s first female signing and quickly established herself as the face of the women’s division thanks to her outstanding promo ability. Yet it would be her rivalry with Thunder Rosa that took her career to the next level and proved she was deserving of a top spot. However, having been off AEW television for so long and thus losing much of her momentum, she does need to re-establish herself, which a feud with Moné should do.
