We’re heading back to historic Coney Island, New York, as ESPN Networks prepares to air the renowned eating competition for the 21st consecutive year. That’s a lot of hot dogs. A new men’s champion will be crowned for the first time since 2016 because Joey Chestnut, the defending champion, was banned from this year’s event due to a sponsorship conflict that involved a deal with the plant-based hot dog company Impossible Foods. Coverage of the women’s competition begins at 10:45 a.m. ET on ESPN3, with the men’s contest taking place at 12:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2. If you can’t watch live, the men’s competition will reair at 5:00 p.m. ET and 9:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
