RICHMOND TWP, Pa. ( WETM ) — Richmond Township will be having a summer clean-up day for residents next weekend.

This year, the township is giving residents the opportunity to get rid of their unwanted household items by holding a free day for electronic recycling and dumpster drop-off. The event will take place on Friday, July 12, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the township building.

Items that will be accepted include TVs, computers, printers, different household items and tires. Each household may bring eight tires per household for free, after that, you must pay $10 per tire. Metal will also be accepted at the event in a pile that is separate from the dumpster.

Households with large items should come to the event early. Everyone who brings items for clean up must check in with the secretary.

For any questions about the summer clean-up day, call the Richmond Township office at 570-662-3774.
