Unless you’re a smoothie fanatic and blend up fruity concoctions on the regular, odds are, your blender gets a lot more use when the temperatures begin their inevitable upward ascent. Not that there’s ever a wrong time to sip on a juicy, refreshing Erewhon-inspired blended beverage, but something about guzzling down ice-cold deliciousness during the summer just hits different. Even if you aren’t working with an Erewhon budget, though, there are plenty of easy-to-make smoothie recipes that are sure to impress, and you don’t need a fancy $300 blender to make them.

Whether you’re more into milkshakes or frozen daiquiris, there’s no limit to what you can whip up with the help of an endlessly essential blender —and thanks to Aldi, you won’t have to break the bank to get your hands on a new one. Continuing their effort to deliver all things summer approved, the budget-friendly retailer just added the Ambiano High Speed Blending System to their famed Aldi Finds section, and it’s a nearly identical dupe for the ever-popular NutriBullet—albeit at a fraction of the cost.

This all-inclusive blending system features everything you need to create your very own Smoothie King-inspired creations from the comfort of home in no time. The 11-piece set includes a black, blue or light purple blender base, a large and small blending cup, a drinking cup with a handle, a flip-top lid, two solid lids, two lip rings, stainless steel blades and even a handy recipe book. The blender also features overheat protection which will shut the unit off if there’s ever an issue breaking down your ingredients or a malfunction with the device. Additionally, the base sports essential non-slip feet ensuring the blender stays put during use.

The containers are all easy to clean and could possibly sustain a trip through the dishwasher in a pinch, but it’s probably best to hand wash to ensure there are no cracks or breaks in the accessories. In terms of cost, this entire set will only cost you a meager $19.99, which is a steal considering the similar NutriBullet Pro 900 model costs a whopping $99! With all the money we’re saving, we might be able to afford a trip to Erewhon after all. On second thought, we’ve got Erewhon at home.
