Retailers across the US are slashing prices to mark the 4th of July, with up to 70 percent off items like headphones , laptops, mattresses and more.

However, as the fireworks loom, there isn't too much time left to take advantage of the sales. Costco is running its price cuts for one day only, while Target's sale is only on through Saturday.

Here are some of the best deals to keep an eye out for online and in store this Independence Day.

    Walmart

Walmart has cut prices on a number of technology items this week including the ETEPEHI Wireless Charging Station, which has been brought down from it's original price of $79.99 to $25.27.

The JBL Clip 4 Portable Waterproof Speaker is also on sale for $48.95, down from $79.95, and you can nab a pair or wireless noise cancelling headphones for over 70 percent off ($19.99 down from $69.99).

If you're throwing a party on Thursday, it might also be an idea to pick up a portable ice maker from KissAir, which is on sale for $71.99, or a new vaccum to handle the clean up.

You can save $200 on the Dyson V12 Detect Slim Cordless Vacuum, which will be on sale for $449.99 from July 8, or even get prepping for your next event with the Emeril Lagasse Power Grill 360 Plus, which will cost just for $50 (down from $169) from the same date.

Customers can shop Walmart's Deals event in store or online until July 11.

    Target

If you're missing any last minute party items, Target could be your go to. The retailer is holding a special 4th of July sale on a number of summer items, such as sunscreen, clothing, pool items, soda and barbecue essentials.

Tees, tanks, beach towels and swimwear are currently up to 20 percent off, as are floaties, water toys and children's sandals. The same mark down has also been applied to the store's special 4th of July baked goods.

Summer foods like watermelon and strawberries are also on sale, and there is a 30 percent off deal when you buy three or more 12-packs of soda. Plus, customers will receive a $5 gift card when they spend $30 or more on hair or skincare products.

The sale is on through Saturday, July 6 and another deal event is due to start on Sunday. That one will run through July 13.

    Costco

Costco's Independence Day sale will last for one day only so members will need to move quick for this one. The good news is that the deal is running online, so customers can still access it even if their local warehouse is closing early.

There's savings to be had on everything from golf balls to refrigerators, with a Southwest Airlines voucher even making the list.

Customers who purchase a $500 voucher for the airline will get $70 off, while couches are up for grabs for up to $600 off. Household appliances are also going for between $200 and $600 less than usual, and mattresses and tires are also on sale.

For adventurers, the Hyperlite Elevation 2.0 Dual-Pontoon iSUP is on sale for $199 (savings of $200), as are other water devices. Those more prone to the indoors can take advantage of the sale too, with the MSI Raider GE78 HX 17" Gaming Laptop on sale for $ 1,799.99.
