I don't care how much the humans in your life love you — no one will ever be as happy to see you as your dog is. It doesn't matter if you're gone for one hour or one month; when that reunion finally happens, they will greet you with all of the enthusiasm in the world, and it's one of the best feelings ever. It's so hard to come home after a great vacation, but seeing my dog's happy face and her wagging tail, relieved that I am finally back, makes any trip ending a lot better.

So it's easy to see why watching videos of dogs and their favorite people back together after a long separation is something that gives many of us animal lovers all the warm and fuzzies, and this video is one of the sweetest. Take a look:

On Tuesday, June 2, Kennedy Bria shared this sweet video of the moment she was reunited with her Australian Shepherd , whose name is Marshall, after more than a month apart. On the video, she wrote that she was worried that her dog wouldn't recognize her, but of course, that couldn't be further from the truth.

As soon as her dog noticed she was there, he trotted over for pets immediately... and then proceeded to totally lose his mind with happiness. He was jumping all over her in excitement and even knocked her over into the grass. He definitely had those happy zoomies!

It's no surprise Marshall was this happy to see her — not only will a dog always remember their favorite person, but after watching her other videos, it's easy to see that she really is his bestie.

More About Marshall the Australian Shepherd

Kennedy and her partner, Sam, adopted Marshall in 2023, and it was something they'd talked about for a long time. In this video , she shares their first day picking up their dog — he was so tiny then!

Baby Marshall seemed to take to both of them right away, giving them sweet snuggles even on their first night together, and since then, it seems like their bond has only grown!

It seems like he's a pretty smart pup, too. Since Kennedy and Sam live in an apartment, they've taught him how to ring a doorbell to let him know how to go potty. Marshall is such a good boy.

There was no chance of him not remembering his mom when he loves her this much. He must be so happy that she is finally home with him again!
