Fresh smelling laundry

Us women have spent long hours, days, and loads of brain power developing our special cleaning routines. What works , what does not work, what days are dedicated to what cleaning regime and how long each task takes.
We all have our special cleaning list to tackle and the order of how we like to tackle it. Clean the kitchen, wash the walls, dust the house, clean the bathrooms, do all the laundry, mop the floors, vacuum the rugs, and plug the diffuser in or light a candle.
The goal with cleaning is not only to have a neat and tiddy space but its also to have a good smelling space, somethig all of us homeowners strive for. One women shared her genius tips for making her space smell fantastic, check them out below!
Our bedrooms can start smelling musty quickly, especially if not well ventilated. We should be opening a window now and then to ventilate the room, but here are 3 tricks to add a little fragrance to the room: 1. Spray furniture pads with perfume or essential oil and stick them in your drawers. 2. Deodorise your mattress every few months with bicarbonate of soda and essential oils. Leave the bicarbonate of soda on the mattress for at least 30 minutes to absorb any odours and moisture, then vacuum up. 3. Add scent bags to your wardrobes. I used scent boosters here but you could use Epsom salts and essential oils, dried rice and essential oils or dried lavender instead. . #cleaninghacks #cleaningtips #cleaningmotivation #instaclean #cleaningaccount
This woman is brilliant and her simple but effective house smelling hacks make the perfect addition to anyones home cleaning game. We particularly like the idea of spray a spritz of perfume on a stick furniture bumper and placing it inside your clothing drawer to reduce the stench of stagnant clothes.
Viral Cleaning Hacks You Shouldn’t try
Viral hack not to try #1:
Baby oil on stainless steel. This doesn’t clean any grime, it just builds a film layer over the top of it.
Viral hack not to try #2:
Boiling wooden utensils to “deep '' clean them. This removes their protective layer and often leads to cracking or a full break.
Viral hack not to try #3:
Using ‘The Pink Stuff’ to clean burn marks off the stovetop. It will only scratch the glass badly.
Viral hack not to try #4:
Lysol toilet bowl cleaner used on grout. This breaks down the grout and makes deeper crevices for grime to get packed into.
Viral hack not to try #3:
Coating the bathroom in shaving cream for a deep clean. It's expensive, uses a lot of products that really don't clean all that well.
