Parks to watch fireworks at in Tom Green County

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Looking for a place to watch fireworks for the 2024 celebration of Independence Day in Tom Green County? There are several parks you can stop at this year to watch as the night sky lights up.

The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office shared a list of several parks to watch fireworks at safely within the county for July 4. These places include:

• Carlsbad Park – 10527 Carlsbad Loop in Carlsbad
• Foster Park – 10550 FM 2335 in San Angelo
• Harper Park – 19125 FM 2034 in Water Valley
• Mereta Park – 18139 Grand Ave. in Mereta
• Mineral Wells Park – 4807 Mineral Wells Rd. in Mineral Wells
• Mullins Crossing Park – 6503 Mullins Crossing Rd. in Miles
• Pugh Park – 20241 Toe Nail Trl. in Christoval
• Veribest Park – 6199 Veribest Park Rd. in Veribest

A firework display hosted by the Lake Nasworthy HOA will start around 9 p.m.Fireworks will be launched across from the Goodfellow Recreation Camp and a curated soundtrack will be on 94.7 KIXY FM.
