It’s been known for some time that Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo’s WWE contracts were expiring this year, leading to speculation they could end up working elsewhere. And while Carrillo’s long-term future remains unknown, 31-year-old Garza has revealed during a Facebook live stream that he has re-signed with the company for an additional three years, noting, “ It was an offer I straight-up could not reject.

“I have not left. In fact, I just re-signed for another three years. It was an offer I straight-up could not reject, so there is that.”

After initially making his name in the United States via Impact Wrestling, Garza would sign with WWE in 2019. Yet, despite his look and talent, WWE has rarely pushed the third-generation wrestler for reasons that are unclear. Still, it appears he is happy enough in his current spot, and it will now be interesting to see whether his cousin Carrillo also intends to remain in WWE or instead wants to prove himself elsewhere.
