PBS' 44th annual July 4th concert A Capitol Fourth, broadcast live from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol, is now available for streaming at PBS.org—and below. The concert features performances from The Color Purple stage and screen star Fantasia; Emmy winner Darren Criss, who is headed back to Broadway later this season in Maybe Happy Ending; Grammy winner Smokey Robinson; Latin Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Sheila E.; neo-soul pop band Fitz & Noelle from Fitz and The Tantrums; composer and producer Chloe Flower; Grammy-nominated disco sensations Sister Sledge, now featuring Sledgendary; recording artist Loren Allred; dancer and choreographer Britt Stewart; and Olympic Gold medal-winning gymnast Shawn Johnson East.

It has been a deadly holiday on Oklahoma lakes. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports two people drowned yesterday at Keystone Lake west of Tulsa. One of the victims was a 14-year-old boy and the other a 39-year-old man who tried to rescue him from Appalachia Bay. Their bodies were recovered in about 12 feet of water.

Willie Nelson, 91, is under the weather and has been forced to cancel a handful of appearances on the Outlaw Music Festival Tour 2024. Nelson is expected to make a “quick recovery” and will return to the tour next week.
