PHOTOS: Crews respond to vehicle fire in southern Utah

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Utah ( ABC4 ) — Crews with Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle fire on Thursday afternoon.

According to a social media post , crews responded to the blaze just past noon. Officials said the fire was near the county line in an area north of Kolob Reservoir.

Officials said the fire did not spread into the brush nearby, and hot spots were extinguished. Crews also examined the areas around the fire to check for any spot fires that may have occurred.

According to officials, several firetrucks responded to the scene. Hurricane Valley Fire and Rescue said there were no injuries reported after the fire.

The cause of the vehicle fire is still under investigation.
