Burton appointed Chelsea U21 manager Mark Robinson as their new head coach last month, and signed Charlie Webster not long after on a permanent basis. Williams is only joining temporarily, but with the Blues connections playing a big role.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall completed his move from Leicester City to Chelsea yesterday, reuniting with head coach Enzo Maresca who made the same move just last month. Unlike Maresca, who would spend just the one season at Leicester, Dewsbury-Hall had been at the club his entire footballing life (save for a couple loan moves), so it’s certainly a massive change for the 25-year-old to leave his boyhood club and step out into the great big unknown.

Arsenal have formalized the permanent transfer of David Raya from Brentford, the club announced today. The move has been on the cards since early last fall — last season’s loan deal reportedly contained an extremely easy to meet clause that shifted the option to buy to an obligation, exactly as both clubs intended. The Gunners will pay around £30M for the Spanish keeper, who won the Premier League Golden Glove with 16 cleans sheets (20 in all competitions).
