    CHILLICOTHE — Have you ever been driving down the road and seen multiple cars of the same make or color in a row? Or maybe you want to know just how unique your vehicle is compared to others in Ohio. Either way, data from the Ohio Department of Public Safety Bureau of Motor Vehicles helps show the different vehicles registered in Ross County as of the end of 2023.

    In Ross County, a total of 120,224 vehicles are registered, this averages out to around 1.6 registrations per person in the county. Of these, the majority, 59,457, are passenger vehicles most of which belong to single owners. Also in the county, nine mopeds, 106 buses, 3,732 motorcycles and 519 motor homes are registered.

    Statewide data shows that the top colors for vehicles are black gray and white while the least popular colors are lavender, mauve and pink. Throughout the cars in the state, a 2019 model year is also the most popular with over 816,000 vehicles from that year being registered.
