CAMBRIDGE — Wine and craft beer enthusiasts have a new reason to discover Southeast Ohio’s Appalachian hills. Three counties − Guernsey, Coshocton and Muskingum − recently launched a new spirits trail called Wild About Wine that highlights the region’s wineries and breweries.
Guernsey County

Baltic Mill Winery is located in an historic 1908 flour mill and has been operating for 10 years. They offer more than a dozen varieties of wines and ciders, from dry to sweet, all bottled in-house. They also offer tours showcasing the original mill machinery. It’s open year-round and also offers food and beer. Pet friendly for animal lovers outside only.

The Wooly Pig Farm Brewery is a small independent craft brewery specializing in traditional German lagers, such as Helles, Schwarzbier and Pilsner. The brewery is family-friendly and has a covered patio and large outside area for sitting or roaming, drinks-in-hand, to visit the eponymous Wooly Pigs.
