Bridgerton's Nicola Coughlan could pocket nearly $21,000 for each sponsored post she shares on Instagram , following the Netflix show's success.

A recent study has revealed that the Co Galway-born actress is the third-most influential cast member from the forthcoming season of Bridgerton, potentially earning a whopping $21,000 per sponsored social media post .

The research, carried out by NoDeposit365.co.uk, scrutinized the Instagram profiles of Bridgerton season three cast members. Using Inzpire's Instagram pricing calculator, it unveiled how much the stars could rake in per sponsored post.

Jonathan Bailey, who portrays Anthony Bridgerton, tops the list as the most influential star of Bridgerton's eagerly awaited third season, with potential earnings of $25,500 per sponsored social media post.

His on-screen wife, Simone Ashley, who plays Kate Sharma, comes in second, potentially earning up to $23,800 per sponsored post, reports the Irish Mirror.

This news follows the announcement that Coughlan will feature in the new comedy series Big Mood on Channel 4.

The Derry Girls star will join Lydia West (It's A Sin, Inside Man) in the new six-part comedy series. Penned and created by Camilla Whitehill (Bruised Sky, Porters), the series delves into female friendship and the complexities of serious mental illness.

Big Mood follows best friends Maggie (Coughlan) and Eddie (West). The pair have been close friends for ten years, but with the rest of their lives looming, careers hanging in the balance, and Maggie's bipolar disorder making an unwelcome return, Eddie begins to question whether this friendship is really in their best interests.

With their twenties behind them, can Maggie and Eddie's relationship survive?

Coughlan and Whitehall are long-time friends, and have previously collaborated on writing the podcast Whistle Through the Shamrocks.

"Camilla has been a part of my life for a really long time, I've known her for nearly 16 years, and we always wanted to work together," said Coughlan.

"Camilla had talked about writing something that I would be in, but it took various different forms and then all came together as what Big Mood is now. I was never really asked to do Big Mood, Camilla just always expected that I would do it, and I would have never said no!"

Speaking about her character Maggie, Coughlan said: "I think Maggie is so different to me in so many ways. I've never played a character like her before, someone that has so little self-doubt, I often play quite bookish characters and people that stand in the background and Maggie is front and centre. It was really liberating to play her because there were scenes in which I was like, 'I would never do this', she's so bold and so front footed. I loved playing her."
