Aliyah Boston Reveals Truth About Switching Up Her Hairstyle

Indiana Fever star Aliyah Boston started to turn heads nationally while still playing for the South Carolina Gamecocks. Besides Boston’s effective play on the court, her colored hair streaks helped her catch fans’ attention.

However, Boston dropped the look last June. In a social media post , Boston said she switched back to her hair’s original color to “show out her black hair.”

And during a Q&A session on Thursday, Boston elaborated on her move to rid her hair of the color streaks.

“I just wanted to try something new. Might add color to this style but I haven’t decided yet,” Boston replied to a fan on X who asked her why she’s no longer sporting colors in her hair.

With or without the colors on her locks, Boston is doing just fine in the WNBA.

So far in her second season as a pro, the top pick in the 2023 WNBA Draft is averaging 13.3 points on 49.4 percent shooting from the field, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists through 21 games.
