SHOPPERS are raving over major deals at a discount grocery store compared to prices of the same products at their local Walmart.

Buying lots of healthy food for a big family can be difficult if you don’t know where to shop , so one TikToker recently shared a budget-friendly grocer for those looking to pinch pennies.

For several times, including shredded/pulled chicken, the Aldi alternative was found to be cheaper than the Walmart option

The TikToker, known as @WildBoyMamax2 at the platform, is a stay at home mother to two young boys.

She regularly shares videos about their lifestyle, including where she shops for food to get major savings.

In the recent clip , the TikToker revealed that popular German-headquartered Aldi is “always a win on a budget.”

“Everything that’s cheaper here than at Walmart,” the mom started out.

The 47-second clip revealed the price difference of a number of products that supposedly can be purchased at both Aldi and Walmart .

This included Kings Hawaiian Rolls, shredded rotisserie chicken, linguine, butter, chicken breast and several other snacks.

She estimated that a loaf of bread bought at Aldi would only be $1.95.

While at Walmart the same product would be $3.67.

Based on her findings, the TikToker estimated that her grocery total would have cost her $57.63 at Walmart.

While at Aldi, it only cost $37.15.

This adds up savings of roughly $20 by switching stores.

Hundreds of shoppers flooded the mother’s comment section, revealing that the local Aldi locations near them are also cheaper than big-box alternatives like Walmart or Food Lion.

“Aldi is always cheaper for me too! (Central Fl),” one TikToker wrote.

“I’ve always found Aldi cheaper, and even if it wasn’t I would choose Aldi over Walmart every time,” another said.

“I always feel so much better when I get most of my stuff from aldi as a wal mart plus member I can say it’s definitely cheaper,” a third chimed in saying.

However, prices may vary depending on where you live.

Several other shoppers noted that in their regions, they often find cheaper items at stores like Walmart.

“Where I’m at Walmart is mostly cheaper or about 40¢ over,” one person wrote.

“But I will say I’ll spend more at Walmart bc they have more items/ options and I have no self control.”

“It depends here in Louisiana. Some things at Walmart are cheaper but then some are cheaper at Aldi,” another added.

    OTHER BUDGET-FRIENDLY OPTIONS

Aldi has long been considered a top budget-friendly store for those looking to keep grocery prices low.

In March, financial advice team Ramsey Solutions unveiled a list of the top three affordable grocery stores in the U.S.

Unsurprisingly, Aldi came out on top.

Here is the complete list of the best discount grocers:

    1. Aldi
    2. Market Basket
    3. Winco
