Nick Kyrgios and Tim Henman cheekily hinted that Novak Djokovic might have intentionally let Jacob Fearnley back into their match to ensure Andy Murray got a prime TV slot. Djokovic swiftly took a two-set lead over Britain's world No. 277 Fearnley at Centre Court on Thursday.

Yet, the Serbian seemed to falter as he lost the third set 7-5 and appeared troubled in the fourth. Kicking off the day on the main show court was Djokovic, while the Murray brothers were lined up for the third doubles match.

Over on Court 1, British No. 1s were battling it out. Harriet Dart triumphed in a lengthy battle against Katie Boulter, and Jack Draper was just stepping onto the court to face Cameron Norrie, reports the Express .

This sequence of events led Kyrgios and Henman to speculate whether Djokovic was intentionally stalling his match to avoid clashing with the Brits' games on Court 1. "Listen, the schedulers are relieved if that happens because what we don't want is the Murray brothers playing doubles at the same time as Cam Norrie is playing Jack Draper," BBC presenter Clare Balding remarked.

Kyrgios chimed in: "Maybe Novak knows that deep down. Maybe he does." Henman continued: "He's almost trying to help the tournament, he's a member of the club."

The conversation then shifted as Kyrgios probed Henman about securing a membership, which is typically reserved for Wimbledon champions. "When can I be a member? " the Australian inquired. "I'm working on it. I've got some pull around here but not that much," Henman quipped.
