    During her time as a member of the British royal family, Princess Diana attended The Championships, Wimbledon on several occasions. The Grand Slam tennis tournament served as the ideal venue to showcase new additions to her royal wardrobe and the evolution of her style sensibility.

    As a new member of the British royal family, Princess Diana attended the All England Club’s Wimbledon tournament in 1981. She fashioned a crisp white ensemble with the addition of a pastel jacket with shades of pink and green along with buttons running down the front placket of the garment.

    Years after her Wimbledon debut as a member of the British royal family, the late Princess of Wales fashioned this pink floral dress with a statement white Peter Pan collar.

    By the ’90s, Princess Diana had wholly embraced her power suit era. The royal fashioned this matching skirt suit look in a shade of peach with a coordinated polka-dot silk top. Diana continued the warm color motif, adding pops of metallic gold with a statement necklace, pearl earrings, rings and a watch.

    For her appearance at the 1994 Wimbledon tennis tournament, Princess Diana embraced a fiery red look with this sleeveless, belted dress. The dress featured four pockets with gold button embellishments and a belt that cinched the royal’s waist with gold detailing. She accessorized with gold earrings as well.
