Brand New Cup Noodles Flavor Is Totally Weird and Perfect for Summer

It may be summertime, but who says you can't still enjoy a hot cup of noodles? You could spend all day making the perfect broth and noodle bowl, or you can enjoy an instant meal with Cup Noodles, saving both time on cooking and the clean up afterward.

And if you're thinking that Cup Noodles aren't a summer food, then you need to try the brand's newest noodle flavor. It's totally weird, but it's also perfect for long summer days and warm nights.

We Didn't See This Coming

Cup Noodles recently introduced what is probably its most shocking flavor to date- even more shocking than its recently released Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese flavor that was meant to be a breakfast version of Cup Noodles, and maybe even more surprising than its Pumpkin Spice version, which people didn't seem to like much.

Cup Noodles is targeting dessert lovers again with this new flavor: Cup Noodles Campfire S’mores.

This new product combines powdered chocolate, actual bits of marshmallow, and graham cracker flavors, which you find S'mores, with a hint of smokey flavor to create a unique take on the s’more dessert that we all enjoyed as kids. Like the Everything Bagel variety, this one has a creamy sauce rather than a brothy one, which makes it seem a little better.

You may be wondering why this is a flavor, and Cup Noodles has the answer to that. Responding to criticism on social media, the company simply responded with "Why not?"

That is a very good question. Why not have S'mores flavored everything?

The new S'mores Cup Noodles is available only at Walmart, and only for a limited time.

This Flavor Is Everywhere This Year

Cup Noodles may not be associated with summer, but S'mores sure are. This flavor is everywhere this year, with Dunkin' releasing a late summer menu full of S'mores flavors , and ice cream places offering their take on S'mores, too.

You can find a ton of S'mores recipes that create classic S'mores or put a spin on this traditional summer dessert .

But we didn’t see this being a flavor for noodles, but again- why not?  This may be the most shocking flavor Cup Noodles has released so far, but early reviews show promise. People seem to love it, no matter how strange it may be.

Content creator @snachwithzach tried it and said it "wasn't terrible," but we don't know if that is a ringing endorsement. He said it's a little rich and a little salty, which we'd expect from Cup Noodles.

We'd definitely try these, if for no other reason than the fun of it.
