Listen: Morgan Wallen Releases Long-Awaited Fan-Favorite 'Lies Lies Lies'

Morgan Wallen ’s long-awaited, fan-favorite song, “Lies Lies Lies,” has officially released on Friday (June 5). Its official debut arrives one day after its exclusive premiere on iHeartRadio.

Wallen “depicts the narrator's attempt to convince a past love that he's moved on in one breath, before admittedly deeming them all ‘lies’ and caving into his true feelings,” reads a press release issued earlier this week. “Lies Lies Lies” was written by Jessie Jo Dillon , Josh Miller , Daniel Ross , and Chris Tompkins , and produced by Joey Moi . Wallen released the song one day after his first-ever headlining show at BST Hyde Park London with Riley Green , ERNEST , Ella Langley , Alana Sprinsteen , Zandi Holup and others.

Fans previously heard a rendition of “Lies Lies Lies” on Abbey Road Sessions . Wallen included the song in a 7-track collection he recorded at the iconic Studio Two at Abbey Road Studios in London on December 5, 2023. He released Abbey Road Sessions as a surprise to fans on the one-year anniversary of his latest full-length album, One Thing At A Time . The massive 36-track project included “Last Night,” “Everything I Love,” “Man Made A Bar” featuring Eric Church , “Cowgirls” featuring ERNEST and more. Wallen included a few new versions of some of the songs that appeared on One Thing At A Time on Abbey Road Sessions , in addition to “Lies Lies Lies” and his cover of “Graveyard Whistling” by Nothing But Thieves . “Lies Lies Lies” follows One Thing At A Time , Wallen’s version of “Spin You Around” and “I Had Some Help,” his hit single with Post Malone .
