Brad Pitt's New Look Is a Throwback to His Gwyneth Paltrow Era

Brad Pitt’s Formula One movie , F1 , doesn’t hit theaters until June 27, 2025, but he’s already showing off a fresh look during promotions for the film. At the British Grand Prix in Northampton, England on Thursday, July 4, the 60-year-old actor sported a throwback look that reminded fans of his Gwyneth Paltrow dating era.

Pitt showed up at the race with a fresh, spiky cut and blonde highlights giving him a very familiar look from the early days in his career. The longer locks, which he’s sported over the last few years were gone, as he rocked Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses and a sly smile. The dramatic transformation looks just like his style in the movie, Se7en — the film which started his famous Hollywood power-couple relationship with Paltrow. They began dating in 1994, and by 1997, they were seen with iconic matching haircuts.

His spiky hair and her long locks turned into dynamic hairdos that are the epitome of 1990s style. The dynamic duo showed up to the red carpet premiere of The Devil’s Own with bright blonde pixie cuts and side-swept bangs — his and hers! In 2021, Paltrow revealed that the twinning styles were unintentional even though they went to the same celebrity hairstylist. “We went to the same stylist for the cut. Chris McMillan cut both of our hair like this,” she said in an Instagram video. McMillan is also known for cutting Jennifer Aniston’s hair into “The Rachel,” and of course, she later went on to become Pitt’s first wife.

Pitt and Paltrow were the “IT” couple of the 1990s decade, and she’s often commented on their very decisive fashion choices that seemed to complement each other. In April 2021, she appeared in Vogue ‘s “Life in Looks” where she commented on a throwback snapshot of their classic casual style. “I believe I was on set with Brad Pitt,” she said. “He was so nice, and we were a very ’90s couple. I know that the Calvin Klein leather jacket is one of my favorite pieces. I’ve always dressed with jeans and a white T-shirt.”

The Wolfs star and his new girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, have yet to show up in matching hairstyles, but there’s still time. The low-key couple hasn’t thrown their relationship into the spotlight, but maybe as his F1 movie tour ramps up in the next year, fans will catch a glimpse of Pitt’s tendency to twin with his mate.
