Bruce Willis ' wife Emma Heming Willis celebrated Fourth of July with her daughters.

Emma has been using social media to keep fans informed about Bruce's health struggles and share her own content as she raises awareness of the type of dementia Bruce is experiencing, frontotemporal dementia (FTD). The actor's health struggles were first made public the previous year when his family disclosed he was suffering from a language disorder known as aphasia.

The actor's wife celebrated time with their two daughters, Mabel Ray Willis and Evelyn Penn Willis. She posted pictures and videos of their day on Instagram and captioned the post: "Happy 4th of July! *and if you don’t have cowboy boots, just put your snow boots on, it’s fine."

The first picture showed Emma with her two daughters wearing cowboy hats and denim inspired outfits. Mabel was actually wearing one of Bruce's flannels. The next slide showed the girls walking to a stadium and looking back at the camera. The third was a picture of Marbel, following a video of them at a Fourth of July parade.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Emma posted a picture of herself with close friends in the day and then Mabel and Evelyn sitting on top of their car, watching something in the dark.

This comes after Emma posted three FTD advocacy updates. On her second video, Emma shared the story of Spencer Cline and his future brother-in-law Paul as they cycle across America to raise vital funds and awareness for FTD. Admitting she has sponsored them $1 per mile, Emma also shared how Bruce would tell them to make sure they "hydrate" as they continue on their epic journey.

Emma previously explained to her fans why she had worked so tirelessly to raise awareness for FTD. Emma continues to dedicate her time to caring for her husband Bruce as he struggles with his ongoing battle with dementia. The actor was diagnosed with FTD last spring. Patients who suffer from the condition can experience a number of symptoms including unusual behaviors, emotional problems, trouble communicating, difficulty with work, or difficulty with walking, according to The National Institute on Aging.
