WICHITA COUNTY ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Harper from the Humane Society of Wichita County is short, sweet, sassy and seeking a family to socialize with.

Harper, a 4-year-old Bassett Hound mix , can’t wait to find a perfect family who will chat and play away with her all day long.

True to her Bassett Hound roots, this gal is quite the talker, especially when playtime rolls around. A social girl, Harper loves to chat with friends, new and old.

While she can be a tad skittish upon meeting new people, Harper quickly warms up to all and will happily carry on a conversation with anyone, especially if it means back scratches are involved.

Plus, Harper is a very intelligent gal, according to pet technician Elizabeth Heineken. Despite not receiving proper training as a puppy, Harper could easily be taught new tricks, Heineken assured.

Harper can join your family with the payment of a $135 adoption fee and completion of an application. Her fee covers the cost of her spay, vaccinations, microchip and heartworm testing.
