Kodak Black says he doesn't want to perform his hit song "Super Gremlin" anymore after he made strides towards leading a more healthy lifestyle.

During an Instagram Live session earlier this week, the Florida rapper said he "hates that lil' s**t" while reflecting on his 2021 smash hit. He explained that he recently got sober (for the most part) and doesn't want to perform the song, which references him taking drugs.

“I’m about to stop performing ‘Super Gremlin,’ period," he began. “I’m sober — for the most part... I couldn’t have waited ’til, like, Saturday. Now, I can wait a few days."

“It was like a n***a was scared to be sober or something," he continued. "Now, I can do that. I can go two days without nothing, homie ... That’s motivation for n***as to feel like if the Gremlin can do it, y’all can do it.”

He opened up about his new sobriety journey a couple of weeks after he revealed just how bad his addiction was. During a concert last month, Kodak told a crowd that he regretted consuming a fake Perc on purpose because of how dangerous the pill was. He also claimed that he used to chew on at least 100 pills a day.

"It's sad though, bruh, because it's like that s**t—the bar came to mind so quick," 'Yak said. "I'm like, 'Damn, I don't wanna say this s**t, but I know this b***h gon' go in.' But we ain't gon' play like that, bruh. When I was at my stage, chewing on them Percs, I ain't gonna say I popped them b***hes."

"I swear to God and my n***as will vouch – I was chewing 100 Percs a day, man," he admitted. "Average like 40. Average! If I was f**king with them fake s**ts, bruh, I'd have been dead. Bruh, I say that, I'm explaining myself now. I don't want y'all to hear that and take that and feel like it's okay to do that s**t, ya feel me?"

It's great that Kodak wants to switch his life up. Thankfully, he's on the road to recovery. See what he had to say about his addiction below.
