    Vehicle leads Darlington County deputy on chase, crashes at intersection

    DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A vehicle that failed to stop for a Darlington County deputy on Friday crashed after a short chase, the sheriff’s office said.

    The pursuit started on Mineral Springs Road, and the vehicle drove through the intersection of Mineral Springs Road and Lawson Road without stopping when it hit another vehicle, according to the sheriff’s office.

    No other information was immediately available. The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
