RICHMOND COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) — Drivers may experience overnight delays on Route 360 over the Rappahannock River in Richmond County starting Sunday.

From 8 p.m. Sunday, July 7, to 5 a.m. Monday, July 8, crews will be resurfacing the lanes immediately north of the Downing Bridge in the Tappahannock area of Richmond County, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

The closeness of this work to the bridge itself will require traffic along the bridge to one lane of alternating, one-way traffic, directed by a flagging crew and a pilot car.

Nightly lane closures coming to I-95 South in Hanover for about a week

This work schedule is weather permitting. If the work needs to be rescheduled, it will instead take place from 8 p.m. Monday, July 8, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 9.
