Aldi Is Selling an $8 Cozy Plush Throw Blanket That's Similar to Wayfair and Target Styles Up to 4x the Price

There really is nothing like a cozy, plush blanket to cozy up with on a rainy day or lazy afternoon. And if you feel like you can never have enough blankets, then you’re in luck. Aldi’s upcoming Aldi Finds drop includes a handful of new plush throw blankets . Not only are they affordable, but one color looks very similar to Wayfair and Target styles, which are up to four times the price.

From July 10 through July 16, Aldi is selling Huntington Home Plush Throws for $7.99. They're made of 100% polyester (minus any decoration that might adorn the sides) and measure 50 inches by 60 inches, which is common for a throw blanket. These blankets come in four fun colors and patterns, including rainbows, outer space, solid purple pom poms and solid blue ribbed.

Huntington Home Plush Throw , $7.99 at Aldi

These blankets are, of course, “comfortable and cuddly,” per Aldi’s site, but they also cater to kids as well as adults. Each design either is metallic, has pom poms or has an eyelash (or ridged) design. They’re also all machine washable.

BOON Super Mink Throw Blanket , $33.27 (originally $44.99) on Wayfair

As we mentioned before, the solid blue ribbed color—which is more of a dark teal—rivals blankets from Wayfair and Target. Firstly, the Super Mink Throw Blanket by BOON Throw & Blanket on Wayfair is a close comparison to Aldi’s throw. It’s currently on sale for $33.27 and comes in over 30 colors, including a dark teal that is similar to Aldi’s. It has the same ribbed texture and measures 60 inches by 80 inches. In addition to being bigger, Wayfair’s blanket has a “faux fur” material with polyester fill.

50"x60" Ruched Faux Fur Throw Blanket - Madison Park , $28.49 at Target

Another blanket that the Aldi throw looks like is at Target, called the 50"x60" Ruched Faux Fur Throw Blanket by Madison Park. It’s currently $28.49 and comes in a handful of colors too (the teal looks like the solid blue ribbed at Aldi). One side of Target’s blanket is smooth and the other side has a textured “woven” feel that they call “ruched.” It has the same measurements as Aldi’s throw blanket and is made with 100% polyester fabric (though this one does say faux fur too, so it might be a tad more plushy than Aldi’s).

So if you’re looking for a cozy, plush throw blanket and don’t want to spend more than $10, Aldi’s Huntington Home Plush Throw might be the way to go.
