SEC Stadium Rankings Leave College Football Fans Puzzled

Social media was up in flames on Friday after CBS Sports released its stadium rankings for the SEC.

The top five consisted of Tiger Stadium (LSU Tigers), Bryant-Denny Stadium (Alabama Crimson Tide), Ben Hill Griffin Stadium (Florida Gators), Neyland Stadium (Tennessee Volunteers), and Jordan-Hare Stadium (Auburn Tigers).

Fans were especially puzzled that Alabama's stadium was so high on the list. Some of them figured that the only reason it was number two was because of how good Alabama's football team has been in the past.

The Alabama football program will change this season. Nick Saban retired following the Rose Bowl, and former Washington Huskies head coach Kalen DeBoer is now in charge.

Despite all the changes, the Crimson Tide has many returning talents. Quarterback Jalen Milroe is back for another season in Tuscaloosa, and Tyler Booker is back as a vital member of the offensive line. On defense, linebacker Deonte Lawson and defensive back Malachi Moore are back in 2024.

DeBoer has spent time in the transfer portal as well. DeBoer brings players like former Michigan Wolverines safety Keon Sabb, former Washington OL Parker Brailsford, former Texas A&M Aggies defensive lineman LT Overton, and former USC Trojans DB Domani Jackson to Alabama.
