Kim DePaola on Teresa Giudice ‘Misunderstandings’ and ‘Jealousy’ Before Fixing Their Friendship

During the earlier seasons of Real Housewives of New Jersey , Kim DePaola and Teresa Giudice fought hard, but these days, thankfully, they’re good. And not the kind of “good” that some women say, which means not good. Instead, they are really good, but this took a lot of time and effort on both of their parts. According to Kim, there were many “misunderstandings” that needed to be cleared up, but now, she and Tre totally get each other.

Reunited and it feels so gooood, for now

In speaking to OK!, Kim first explained that “there was a lot of misunderstandings back in the day, and there was a lot of jealousy and there was a lot of fear. Some of the cast thought I was a threat because I didn’t have any fear. I was a major Teresa friend , and once Teresa made up with her brother and sister-in-law — which I felt was fake from the very beginning— once that happened, there was no use for me” Kim expressed, with shade.

“So I had heard through the grapevine that Teresa had said, ‘I don’t need Kim D anymore,’” she continued. Clearly, that stung. However, they’ve since spoken. Come to find out “Teresa sees things a different way,” she shared.

“We’ve spoken about it. We’re good with it. She understands where I was coming from. I understand where she was coming from” Kim explained.

As for where they stand now, thankfully, it’s still the real kind of good. You see, Kim further expressed that they’ve “walked away from all of the bad things that were said about each other.” And now, she and Teresa “talk all the time.”

But don’t ask Kim to talk to Joe Gorga . Because she “cannot condone a lot of his actions.” However, Kim’s still open to sitting down with Melissa Gorga . That said, as Teresa’s sister-in-law “usually sides with” her man, this friendship will likely not be as easy for Kim to restore.
