In the Northern Plains today we have severe thunderstorm and elevated tornado risks for the Dakotas, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota. The riska area shifts eastward Tuesday and Wednesday in the Middle and Upper Mississippi River Valley from Missouri and Kansas northward into parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Tornado risk will also be elevated.
