One person killed in northern Utah off-road vehicle crash

RICH COUNTY, Utah ( ABC4 ) — One person died in an off-highway vehicle crash in northeastern Utah on Friday morning, according to the Rich County Sheriff’s Office .

Around 11:40 a.m., Rich County authorities responded to reports of a crash in the Temple Flats area. They say one person was involved in the crash and died from their injuries.

Officials are currently working to identify the crash victim and notify their family. The cause of the crash has not been released.

Off-highway vehicles (OHVs), also known as off-road vehicles, include ATVs, side-by-sides, and dirt bikes. Rich County authorities did not disclose what kind of OHV the driver was riding.
