    Rams Star Receiver Shares Unusual Nutritional Strategy

    Last season, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua took the NFL by storm. When former All-Pro Cooper Kupp went down with an injury, Nacua stepped up and ended up having a historic rookie campaign.

    Nacua finished the season with 105 receptions for 1,486 yards. Every NFL receiver wants to know what Nacua's secret is, and maybe it's the fact that he doesn't eat his vegetables.

    Instead of doing what every mom tells her kids to do -- eating his veggies -- Nacua opts for just watermelon and pineapple for the nutrients that would normally come from vegetables.

    "I don't do any of those," Nacua said.

    Instead, he just opts for the two fruits in the morning.

    "Those are how I get some of my fiber and stuff like that because like, hey, you got to poop somehow," Nacua said. "And I'm like, I'm not getting it from any veggies."

    The context of all this was Nacua working with the Rams nutritionist about improving his diet, but with his own restrictions, as he's a very picky eater.

    Whatever Nacua is doing with his diet, it is working. He heads into the 2024 season as one of the top 10 receivers in the NFL.
