1 person killed in fatal wreck in Randall County Thursday

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Texas Department of Public Safety reports that one person was killed in a motorcycle wreck Thursday evening in Randall County.

According to DPS, a vehicle going south on S. Western St failed to yield right of way to a motorcycle at the stop intersection of W. McCormick Rd and S. Western St. The motorcycle hit the rear of the car killing the motorcycle’s driver, identified as Jimmy Snider, and injuring the passenger.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said the crash is under investigation.
