Turner will miss a maximum of three games while awaiting the birth of his child, starting with Wednesday's matchup against the Astros. Assuming he is out for the next three games, his return is slated for Saturday's contest against the Mariners. Steward Berroa was recalled from Triple-A Buffalo to take Turner's spot on the 26-man roster.

This was Munoz's first save since June 18 -- he blew a save June 24, which was his only opportunity over his last five appearances. The right-hander has seen the most high-leverage spots rather than being strictly confined to the ninth inning. He faced the 9-1-2 hitters Friday to earn his 14th save in 16 chances this year. Munoz has added a 1.54 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 43:14 K:BB across 35 innings while adding six holds. With Munoz's usage being more flexible, Ryne Stanek has forced his way into the closer conversation, though the Mariners' recent poor play hasn't led to many save chances for either reliever.

The Blue Jays recalled Burr from Triple-A Buffalo ahead of Friday's game against the Mariners. Burr appeared in three games for the Blue Jays out of the bullpen before being optioned to Buffalo on June 21, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and one walk while striking out three across 3.2 innings. The 30-year-old right-hander holds a 2.16 ERA and 1.17 WHIP over 16.2 innings in the minors this season. To make room for Burr on the 26-man roster, right-hander Jose Cuas was optioned to Triple-A.
