This actress, famed for her roles in big hits like Friends and Santa Barbara, appeared quite different from her prime . The sitcom star made a guest appearance on Channel 7's The Morning Show on Monday.

Despite looking fabulous at 61, fans were taken aback by her transformed look. The blonde beauty began her successful screen career in the '80s when she starred as Jane Wilson on the NBC soap opera Santa Barbara - earning herself a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Soap Opera Digest Awards.

In 1991, she captured the hearts of viewers with her role as Heddy Newman on the Fox sitcom Herman's Head.

She then continued her success on NBC when she featured in 15 episodes of the popular '90s series Friends alongside stars like David Schwimmer, Jennifer Anniston, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow.

The American actress played the role of Ross Geller's (portrayed by Schwimmer) ex-wife Carol Willick in several episodes of Friends between the years 1994 and 2001.

Have you guessed who it is yet? It's Jane Sibbett!

Jane was on The Morning Show to reminisce about her time on the much-loved sitcom. Apart from her unrecognisable appearance, Jane left viewers stunned when she revealed she almost didn't get the part of Carol.

This was because the casting team initially wanted to offer her the lead role of Rachel Green, famously played by Jennifer. Jane was in the running for the role of Rachel in Friends, but her pregnancy with her first child Kai Fink meant she didn't get the part.

Jane remembered the moment she found out about the audition results: "It's actually that I had left the room from auditioning for Rachel and I got the phone call from my manager saying, 'They love you. They want you."

She asked her manager if he'd informed them of her pregnancy, to which he replied: "So, I said, 'Did you tell them that I was pregnant? ' And he said, 'No, just go onto the test, it will be fine.'".

However, once they found out she was expecting, they decided it wouldn't work out. "That's how it went. So once they did tell them I was pregnant, they said, 'Oh, that's not going to work out,'" she added.

But things worked out for Jane in the end. Shortly after giving birth to her son Kai, she was offered the role of Carol. Her son even appeared as Ross' baby Ben on the show.
