CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Lowcountry residents can brace for another warm weekend with a heat advisory returning Saturday.

Storm Team 2 says the Lowcountry will remain mostly dry until the afternoon. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 90s.

“That feel like temperature once again reaching over 105 into the 108 category as you head towards your afternoon,” says meteorologist Garce Lowe. “Quickly skyrocketing into triple digits by 11 o’clock in the metro.”

Lowe added the Lowocuntry is under a heat advisory from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.

A few scattered showers are expected to start in the inland areas around 2 p.m.
