Pit Bull's Hilarious Expression While Looking at Noisy New Baby Brother Says it All

One of the biggest life changes that anyone can experience is welcoming a new baby to the family. Whether you're the lucky parents or an older sibling, this tiny little person is about to rock the household in ways you never could have imagined or planned for — and no, not even the family pets are safe from it! The adjustment can be pretty rough, especially for those who aren't used to having babies around... but in the end, it's always worth it.

That might be something the dog in this TikTok video needs a little bit of convincing on, though. His new brother is very noisy (as babies tend to be) and he is not here for it.

On this video shared by @elizabethbf7 on TikTok, the OP wrote, "when you've been enjoying quiet cuddles for six years and then your parents bring this thing home."

We can see his baby brother making all kinds of loud baby noises (happy ones, at least) while sitting in his rocker, and the big brother, a Pit Bull, just looks at the camera like he's on a reality show, wondering what's going on here and how he can make it stop.

The good news: In a comment, Mom explained that their bonding is going better than this video would make it seem! "Despite the video, he really is loving being a big brother! I promise," she wrote.

She's also optimistic that they'll become best friends in the future, because in another comment, she added, "I figure once the baby starts dropping food on the floor, that will sell the deal."

Yeah, once that baby is sneaking the dog food, they will be partners in crime forever. I've seen it happen in my own house!

How to Get Dogs Used to Loud Babies

For some dogs, the difference in the noise level at home really can be an issue when you bring a new baby home, but there are a few ways you can prepare them for a crying baby before the little one arrives.

The simplest way to do this is by playing baby sounds for your dog gradually over time, starting at a low volume and working your way up. There are plenty of YouTube videos that offer recordings of different baby noises, from crying to cooing, that you can use as background noise.

This should help desensitize your dog to the noise, but if they seem to be getting stressed out by it, it might be a good idea to ask your vet about what could be going on. The best time to do that is before the baby comes, and it will take so much stress off of you during what is arguably one of the most stressful times in your life!
