Miss Night and Day episode 7 aired on Saturday, July 6, 2024, on JTBC and Netflix. Starring Jung Eun-Ji, Lee Jung-Eun, and Choi Jin-Hyuk, the romantic-comedy K-drama is about a young woman who turns 50 during the day.

In the previous episode, Lee Mi-Jin (Eun-Ji) successfully avoided transforming into her older version, Im Sun (Jung-Eun), in front of Gye Ji-Ung (Jin-Hyuk). At night, she turned back to Mi-Jin and met him again. The two appeared to have grown closer than before. Meanwhile, as Im Sun, she helped him in a catfishing case.

The Miss Night and Day episode 7 begins with Ji-Ung at a restaurant trying to expose a cat-fisher and catch a drug dealer. But Mi-Jin, who has been watching the situation from outside, sees the culprit spiking his drink. In an awkward scuffle, Mi-Jin manages to help the prosecutor catch the culprits. While walking home, he tells her that he will wait for the day when she will feel comfortable to share her secret.

What happens in Miss Night and Day Episode 7?

In Miss Night and Day episode 7, Im Sun heads off to work the next day and becomes happy learning Ji-Ung has never dated. She takes advantage of her age and forces his superior to shift the company dinner time to 4:00 p.m. For context, she changes into her young self at 7:00 p.m. While leaving the office, top star Ko Won (Baek Seo-Hoo) follows her. He has received information that Im Sun has no records, and he becomes suspicious of her.

Ko Won ends up at a café where he sees a young woman, who has a bag and jacket like Im Sun, engrossed in an online game. He then notices a scar on her ankle similar to the middle-aged woman. Finally, the celebrity checks an old footage which leaves him in shock. He discovers that the young woman is the same person he once mistook as Im Sun.

While going home on her bicycle, Mi-Jin notices someone is following her in a car. She gains speed but then stops and dials Ji-Ung’s number. The vehicle halts and then leaves. She takes a sigh of relief and informs Ji-Ung that everything is fine. She heads home and sees her family celebrating her first payday. After wrapping up the party, Mi-Jin mentions her missing aunt Sun’s name to her mother, who freezes for a second. For context, Mi-Jin uses her missing aunt Im Sun’s name for her older version who looks like her. The next morning, the same car is parked outside Mi-Jin’s house.

Miss Night and Day episode 7 further shows Im Sun surprising everyone with her dance at the company dinner party. When she goes to a restroom to wash her face, a man stands behind her. However, he rushes outside and Im Sun fails to see his face. On the other hand, Ji-Ung has flashbacks when he meets the detective who was assigned his mother’s case when he was a kid.

He gets a call from his subordinate who mentions the senior citizen group’s intern Baek Cheol-Gyu and his background. Ji-Ung becomes suspicious of the old man as he recalls Cheol-Gyu’s face. Meanwhile, the office dinner party is over and Im Sun seems drunk. She is confused about whether she should call Ji-Ung as Im Sun or as Mi-Jin as the clock will soon strike 7. When Ji-Ung gets the call, no one speaks from the other end. He gets worried and rushes to her following the GPS tracker he has previously placed in Mi-Jin’s phone.

At the party, Ko Won holds Im Sun’s hand to give her support. It appears he has found out the truth. He pushes Im Sun to leave soon as she doesn’t have time. He leans on her side, making it look like he is hugging her, and says, “The sun will set soon.” Shocked, she tries to avoid Ka Won but then sees Ji-Ung walking towards her but he has not spotted her yet. Suddenly, she faints and Ko Won embraces her. The final scene features Ji-Ung finally spotting her but in someone else’s arms.
