Tikka Shack Franchisee Nilay Patel this week told What Now Charlotte their new location at The Shops at High Point Crossing is set to open the first week of August 2024. This will be the first Tikka Shack in South Carolina, expanding the presence of the Texas-based fast-casual Indian grub chain.
The new Tikka Shack will be located at 2427 Cross Pointe Drive, off Dave Lyle Blvd., near Academy Sports and Sam’s Club.
The restaurant has leased a 2,000-square-foot space and interior construction is well underway. The Shops at High Point Crossing, managed by The Warren Norman Company , also hosts tenants like Heartland Dental, Music & Arts, and EyeMart Express.
Tikka Shack aims to push the boundaries of traditional Indian cuisine, offering a menu of classic dishes with a modern twist. The diverse menu features crafted curries, wraps, salads, bowls from the grill, naan pizza and tacos, wings, and a kid’s menu. The restaurant also provides party platters and an extensive catering menu, promising an unforgettable dining experience.
“We are focusing all our energy and efforts on opening our Rock Hill location with even more fantastic food and flavors than our Tikka Shack Charlotte Uptown location,” Patel in an email told What Now Charlotte .
