CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Allen Volunteer Fire Department responded to two separate reports of possible structure fires on the 4th of July.

Around 11:15 p.m., units from Allen, Concord, Squad 410 and Harrisburg were dispatched to Patriots Place Apartments in Concord for reports of a dumpster fire next to a structure.

Personnel arrived to find a fully involved dumpster fire as a result of improper disposal of fireworks.
