Therefore, it was thought that it would be some time before he returned to the ring. However, after he made a surprise appearance during night two of WrestleMania XL to assist Cody Rhodes, he would team up with Awesome Truth against The Judgment Day on the following night’s episode of Raw.

And now it appears he is set to return to WWE television at Saturday night’s Money In The Bank premium live event after Fightful Select was tipped off that the wrestler-turned-actor is in Toronto.

47-year-old John Cena has been very open about his intention to retire before he turns 50, and therefore, it seems he is trying to squeeze in as many WWE appearances as he can while still being a movie star. And while his film schedule isn’t public knowledge, it appears he is currently between making action movies “Heads of State” and “The Janson Directive,” and therefore free for another WWE return, even if just for one night.
