A former Michigan Wolverines basketball player and former Michigan State Spartans basketball player made Olympic basketball history on Saturday during an qualifying matchup between the Bahamas and Lebanon.

The game pitted Youssef Khayat of Lebanon and the NCAA Division-I Bowling Green Falcons against current BGSU Associate Head Coach Lourawls "Tum Tum" Nairn.

Khayat played for Juwan Howard's Wolverines this past season. Nairn played for Tom Izzo's Michigan State Spartans from 2014-2018.
