It's the end of an era. Following a ridiculously well-executed Ladder Match, won by Drew McIntyre, and a strong 1-on-1 defense of the Intercontinental Championship by Sami Zayn over Bron Breakker, legendary women's champ Trish Stratus spoke to the audience. It wasn't long before she brought out the incomparable John Cena to deafening cheers from the Toronto crowd at Money in the Bank.

After working the crowd into a frenzy, Cena delivered news that no one in the areana wanted to here. He's about to be done with wrestling all together.

Cena first won the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania XXI, back in 2005, the first of an amazing 13 times he wore the belt. Since, he's been one of the promotions top draws, year after year with a legion of loyal followers. Soonafter becoming champion, Cena unlocked his acting career, guest appearing in several episodes of the TV show "Psych", starring in the action film, "The Marine", and eventually landing in the DC Comics universe as Peacemaker, both in the Suicide Squad movie and as the title character in a highly successful and well-received HBO Max show.

Now he's announced his retirement tour and, as expected, fans were in turmoil hearing the news. Here's the reaction from the Twitter world.
