Beryl is not near what it was days ago when it moved through the Windward Islands as a category 5 hurricane. Strong wind shear in the Western Caribbean and a trip across the Yucatan Peninsula have reduced it toa tropical storm. Beryl continues north northwest today and it appears that the center will make landfall along the Texas coast about half way up between Corpus Christi and Houston.
