MotoGP returns for back-to-back races after a month's long summer break in 2024, and we're all set for the ninth race of the season at the Sachsenring as the German Grand Prix gets underway.

Unlike circuits like those in Spain and Italy, this isn't a home race for any of the 27 drivers, however after winning a thrilling encounter in 2023, this year's current World Championship leader Jorge Martin will certainly be treating it as such, as he looks to extend his 10-point lead at the top.

Martin was pipped to the top of the podium by defending two-time champion Francesco Bagnaia at the Dutch TT in Assen last time out, and the Spaniard will be on the hunt for only a third race win of the season — despite still leading Bagnaia in the current standings by 200 points to 190.

The German Grand Prix is the ninth race of the 2024 MotoGP World Championship season and takes place at the Sachsenring in Hohenstein-Ernstthal, Saxony, Germany on Sunday, July 7.

USA: TruTV is the place to catch this race on terrestrial television in the US, and for streaming options, Sling TV is your best bet, with Max also providing coverage both live and on catch-up for MotoGP fans stateside

Canada: Canadian MotoGP fans can watch English-speaking coverage of the 2024 MotoGP season via REV TV, with streaming also available on TSN+

When is the next MotoGP race after the German Grand Prix?

MotoGP is back in full swing following the summer break, and the fact we're not even at the halfway stage of the season yet shows that's there's plenty of racing left to run and enjoy as the 2024 season really starts to hot up. Next up after Germany —it's none other than the British Grand Prix.

The seventh of 10 races in a row taking place on European soil either side of the summer break, this year's British Grand Prix from Silverstone —

has been run almost annually since 1977, aside of cancellations in 2018 and 2020 due to weather conditions and the covid-19 pandemic respectively.
